deskjet full feature software/driver: for HP Deskjet 6122 Type: Driver - Product Installation Software HP DeskJet 6122 Printer Driver - HOME USERS - FOR USB OR PARALLEL CABLE (American English) This driver is designed for use on computers that will be directly connected to the printer from the computer through: A parallel cable on Windows 95/98/ME. A USB or parallel cable on Windows 98/ME.Installation instructions: Caution!   The printer's (USB or Parallel) cable must be unplugged before proceeding! Create a new folder on the hard drive before downloading the printer driver. Suggestion: "c:dj6122" Download the driver to the newly created c:dj6122 folder. Open the c:dj6122 folder and double-click on the downloaded "exe" file to extract the driver files. Note: The extraction process will create a series of folders under the c:dj6122 folder that you downloaded the driver file into. Connect the cable (USB or Parallel) from the PC to the printer. When the "Add New Hardware Wizard" screen appears, click "Next". Note: If the "Add New Hardware Wizard" does not appear, restart Windows and continue with step 6. In the next window, select "Search for the best driver for your device" and click "Next". In the next window, select "Specify a Location" and click the "Browse" button. In the "Browse for Folder" window, locate the folder where you downloaded and extracted the driver files and select the "6122" folder (C:dj61226122) and click "OK". The Add New Hardware Wizard will find the correct driver for your printer. Click "Next" to continue. In the next window, click "Finish". The printer driver files will now be installed and the hp deskjet 6122 series icon will be added to the "Printers" folder.
